IACIS® Certification Programs

The International Association of Computer Investigative Specialists offers the Certified Forensic Computer Examiner (CFCE) Certification Program, which is open to active law enforcement personnel and candidates who qualify for membership in IACIS®.  Please navigate to the CFCE Certification links for more details. 

CFCE Certificants (persons who hold a current CFCE credential) are required to recertify in the third year from initial certification or last recertification.  The CFCE Recertification program is only available to CFCE Certifications who hold an active CFCE certification.  Proficiency testing is required for recertification, but IACIS® provides proficiency tests to CFCE Certificants who require satisfaction of proficiency tests for their employer.  Please visit the Recertification and Proficiency links for more information.

IACIS is currently developing the Certified Advanced Windows Forensic Examiner (CAWFE) Certification Program.  The CAWFE Certification program will be offered in late 2010.  Please check back often for more details.
