IACIS® is a non-profit organization. Our mission is to provide forensic computer training as well as facilitate a network of contacts with various expertise to the law enforcement community. In order to attend IACIS® training and to become a member, you must be either be a sworn law enforcement officer or a full time civilian employee of a law enforcement agency. Some contract employees working in a law enforcement environment, as well as retired law enforcement officers, may also be eligible. The same requirements hold for international students and members. Proof of status will be verified upon application for membership. (For those non-sworn individuals without agency credentials, a letter, on agency letterhead signed by an agency official stating employment status and authorization to attend the training will be required.)
