Gerry, a native of Castries, St. Lucia, West Indies, is currently a civilian contractor for the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) in Las Vegas, NV. He retired from the US Air Force after 20 years of service, half of which was as a Special Agent with the Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI). After retirement, Gerry worked as a District Investigator for Walgreens and also spent time as a computer forensics examiner in the DEA Digital Evidence Laboratory. Gerry has attended training courses offered by Guidance Software (EnCase Enterprise), SANS, the National White Collar Crime Center (NW3C), Access Data (FTK), and the International Association of Computer Investigative Specialists (IACIS). He holds various certifications in the digital forensics field to include A+, Access Data Certified Examiner (ACE), Certified Computer Forensics Examiner (CFCE) from IACIS, and EnCase Certified Examiner (EnCE).
Brent has been an IACIS member since 2001 when he attended the Basic class in Orlando as a member of the New Zealand Customs Service.
