Truxton CFE Bootcamp

The Truxton CFE Bootcamp is designed to introduce new users to the Truxton digital forensics platform and provide basic level certification using the software. Students will receive a full license of Truxton LE as part of the class, and a no-restrictions 180-day demo license of ADF’s Digital Evidence Investigator Pro for imaging mobile devices, PCs, and loose media from drones, cameras and other media card devices. Students will also receive a Tactical PFL backpack to store their work laptop and other forensic hardware.

Students will learn how to successfully perform mobile, PC, and SD card acquisitions using ADF DEI Pro; ingest ADF and other forensic images into Truxton; create and manage a media repository, and run a real-world case from start to finish using Truxton. Specific topics will include, reviewing file systems, performing keyword searches and advanced queries, and marking files as findings with investigator notes. Students will also learn how to review and analyze visual media, conversations, geographic locations, and domain/browsing history, and present these findings/events on a unified timeline, and produce jury-ready reports and a complete log of investigator activity.

This 5-day class will provide both an introduction to Truxton’s revolutionary concept of operation and workflow, and detailed, hands-on instruction to all features required to successfully complete a digital investigation from start to finish.
