IACIS comments:
IACIS opened up a whole new world for me. The experience I got from the trainings and leadership of the association helped me achieve things I never considered possible. IACIS was a catalyst for my career with the experience and the expanded network I built. The friendships I made from the beginning have lasted over the last 24 years (as of 2025 that is). I am very proud of my membership in IACIS, everything I was able to achieve as a director, and the friendships I made.
Where are you now:
As of 2025 – Retired, at least for the moment. Residing in Berryville, Virginia, with my wife Kerri, daughters Kaitlyn and Rebecca, my in-laws, our cats, and dogs. I’m also working on a Master’s of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness. Remember, you’re never too old to continue learning!
