IACIS would like to show its appreciation to you as one of our dedicated volunteers who are responsible for making this organization what it is today.  In addition to waiving the annual membership dues for volunteers, we also want to offer you the opportunity to participate in any or all of our online training and certification programs.

  • Windows Forensic Examiner (WFE) and the Certified Advanced Windows Forensic Examiner (CAWFE) certification.
  • Mobile Device Forensics (MDF) and the IACIS Certified Mobile Device Examiner (ICMDE) certification.
  • Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT)
  • Applied Scripting Forensic Techniques (ASF)

These programs will be open until December 31st.

Both the training and certification portions of the program need to be fully completed during this period.  There will be no extensions or changes to the program dates.

If you select the WFE and associated CAWFE program, there is a November 30th deadline to complete the first part (written examination) of the CAWFE certification process.

Registration process

You will receive an email message in mid-September containing the voucher codes for the four classes.

To register for the online process, just click (or copy and paste into your web browser) the voucher code for the program that you wish to enter.  These voucher codes are personalized specifically to you and are not to be shared or given to others.

Redeeming your voucher code link will update your profile in our database.  This is where you will be able to download your certification certificate if you successfully complete the process.

Your link will take you to a page that looks like this:

Select “Sign In “and login with your IACIS credentials. If you do not know your sign-in, please follow the self-service account login retrieval prompts or contact webadmin@iacis.com for assistance.

You will then be able to redeem your voucher.  This process will update your details in our system.  You can then proceed to the Moodle registration.

There is a built-in delay in automatic registration. Please allow up to 2 hours between registering and gaining access to the course(s). When you complete the training, you will receive an email. If there is an associated certification, please allow up to 4 hours for enrollment into the certification.

Moodle Registration for Training Process

If you have problems with the training portion of the process, please email the course administrator at OnlineTrainingHelp@iacis.com
Online training is now hosted in the same location as the certification programs. Navigate to Moodle.iacis.com, click the beige “IACIS” button and use your IACIS credentials to log in.

Once you log in, you will see the options for the Certification Courses or the IACIS Online Training. Click the arrow next to Online Training to expand the Volunteer Training category.

Once in the Volunteer training, you should have access to the course(s) that you chose to take using the voucher(s).

The course completion will become available to you after you finish watching all the videos. You must affirm that you have watched all the videos to receive credit for the training and be eligible to take the associated certification exam.

IACIS Ethics Policy Reminder: Any sharing or unauthorized distribution of the videos/materials will be grounds for revocation of IACIS membership and failure of the training. You are expected to watch all the videos to earn credit for the training.
